Heather Pearson

Heather first came to yoga over ten years ago in an effort to increase strength & flexibility in her own body.  Later, she witnessed the immense benefits for both mind and spirit.

Teaching to a range of levels, Heather’s approach is one that supports students through their own journeys on the mat.  Originally from Canada, Heather enjoys drawing from her training as an Occupational Therapist to adapt postures to the needs of her students.

Heather is a graduate with from the Yoga Academy where she trained under Simon Low and a member of the British Wheel of Yoga.

Heather offers a variety of classes, including Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Flow and Hot Yoga, with a focus on safety, creativity and a sense of humour.  She teaches regularly at Yoga at the Barn in Bourn, Cambridgeshire

When she’s not on the mat, you can usually find Heather enjoying being outside, whether it be walking, running, cycling or skiing

Why work with me?

Life is hectic and full of expectations.  Stepping onto a yoga mat is like pushing the pause button on life.  It’s about creating space to breath and connecting to our true selves.  It’s NOT about moulding our bodies into postures that we’ve seen on Instagram but about adapting postures to the bodies we’ve been given.  That’s what real yoga is in real life.
