Since studying sports and exercise science at university Chris has always had an interest in how the body works and how to correct posture and movement and this lead to him completing a level 5 professional diploma in Clinical Sport and Remedial Massage Therapy with the Cambridge School of Sports Massage.
Having qualified in Clinical Sport and Remedial Massage Therapy in 2017 he is keen to develop his practice further and has worked at the Cambridge Town bumps offering sports massage and promoting the positive recovery effects of treatment. He has also worked as a therapist at the 2017 Cambridge half marathon and at the Ride London cycling event and London triathlon.
Chris is constantly striving to develop his skills and knowledge to provide outstanding practice for all his clients. His attention to detail, organisation and research ensure that he offers therapy that helps to fix the cause and not just the symptoms of a client’s issue.
Chris is a keen rugby fan and played for his university and local club. Whilst not currently playing rugby he has coached a number of school teams and is a fully qualified rugby union referee. Chris has also been involved in rowing in Cambridge taking part in 3 years of town bumps. Chris is keen on health and fitness and enjoys fitting exercise into his everyday life as well as playing a variety of sports with friends and family including tennis, badminton and touch rugby.
Every Monday evening Chris is in our Cambridge clinic offering Sports Massage Appts!
